Mark Dayton retiring

The election is barely over...things getting better in Iraq...W's poll numbers are up...Dems in dissaray and now we find the first lib who decides to jump out of the pool is Senator Mark Dayton from Minnesota.

Wonder if the fact that W almost pulled that one off last November, coupled w/Norm Coleman's win there in 2002, might have anything to do w/his decision?

Powerline has a good write-up.
